Addiction or Desire

I know many people in college who are avid coffee drinkers. I even have a few caffeinated tea drinker friends who say that they hate coffee.  I myself drink coffee but just enough to get me through my day and my to do list. But it has come up that I may no longer desire the taste of coffee but be addicted to it.

I know caffeine is a stimulant to the central nervous system; however, I only drink one cup a day, unless its dead week- that’s an exception in itself. Studies have shown one cup a day isn’t bad for you. In fact some have shown that coffee in limited amounts such as a cup a day is actually good for you.  However, on the other hand caffeine is addictive and withdrawal symptoms can occur, such as a headache, muscle pains and as much as developing cold symptoms from caffine withdrawal.  At this point no one has to worry about me and caffine addiction. Keep in mind I’m no  expert I’m just a coffee lover.
